Just
as certain musical tones harmonize with others, colors can create consonance
and dissonance. I am attempting to intuit harmonies, to divine the consonances
of tonality. Ultimately, I seek to create sensate arrays that register
on the viewer emotionally.
Although I have painted with traditional paint mediums for a number
of years, working with the computer has opened up whole new realms of
expression for me. My current projects include a digitally projected
installation and a wall-size mural, both based on the Strata Mandala
series, as well as wall-mounted back-lit images based on Sur Rondure.
